New skateboarding sessions added for all levels at our pop up skatepark in Honley Community Centre. Learn the basics with our 6 week beginner course or keep practising and progressing with our intermediate skateboard club. We have something for everyone.
Friday Skateboarding Sessions
Skateboard Club now on Friday evenings! For the parents, the hall is licensed so bring your Friday tipple and we'll keep the kids entertained. Our new Friday sessions will kick off on Friday, 14 November 2025, at the Honley Community Centre. Here are the details:

Try out the various sessions depending on your current skill level:
6 Week Beginner Course: Perfect for those who have never skated before. You’ll learn the fundamentals: kick-pushing, basic ramp skills and flat-ground tricks.
6 Week Intermediate Club: This course is designed for those who already have the basics and want to keep progressing. Our mellow ramps are perfect for learning a bagful of tricks!
Ladies + Girls 2 hour Skateboard Session: This open age session, in a supportive environment encourages women and girls to skate together and build confidence.
25+ 2 hour Skateboard Session: Tailored for older skaters. Learn or return to skateboarding in our private space - no scooter kids heckling here!
